Critical Education is an internationally influential academic journal. Committed to making contributions to educational research in critical theory, methods, and empirical research. It is based on critical sociological education and welcomes research from other disciplines that attempt to critically examine the social relationships of education, such as history, philosophy, critical geography, political science, and public policy research.

This magazine focuses on and explores the impact of escalating social, political, and economic challenges, as well as how these shape education.
